The Original Waffle Shop North is a great spot for breakfast. The waffles are crisp on the outside and fluffy inside, and the omelets and home fries are also well‑made. The place gets busy, but the service is friendly and efficient. Portions are generous, and everything tastes fresh. A solid breakfast choice in the area.

The food here was delicious and the prices were reasonable. Our waitress, Sarah, was great! She was friendly and checked on us often enough to take care of our needs but wasn't too often where it felt intrusive. The place was busy for a Saturday mid morning and by mid afternoon, it was still busy. There was a line that you had to wait in before being seated but that was due to how busy the place was. Once we were seated and had our food ordered, it didn't take very long to get served. My brunch date ordered a Western omelette with home fries and I ordered the mini platter with home fries and English muffin. The home fries were really good, although they were not the traditional home fries of grilled or fried potato chunks, that I had been expecting. These home fries were simply sliced potatoes that had been browned on the grill. I had ordered my egg over medium and, unfortunately, it came out over easy and was a bit runny. Since it was so busy, it was quite noisy but I suppose that's to be expected. The restroom was clean and well stocked. Overall, I really enjoyed the experience and would highly recommended this place, just be sure you're not short on time because there's most lik

πŸ’― The best breakfast I have eaten on the East or West coast! I had a Meat Lovers Omelet with Bacon, Sausage, Ham, and cheddar cheese (3 eggs), home fried potatoes, side of crispy bacon, and coffee...my sister had a Mushroom, and Swiss Omelet with home fried potatoes, side of bacon, and French toast. You get your Omelet, and two sides...our total bill was a few cents over $40 & worth it! I took my second side home (more potatoes), endless coffee--the staff was excellent, and the food was delicious! The cheese inside the omelets was melted and creamy--so good! πŸ‘ πŸ‘ πŸ‘ Be prepared to wait in a line on weekends or maybe anytime (waited about 20 minutes & arrived at 10am on a Saturday), but it was worth it! We will be back again!
